Abacaxi

This16x20 original was created with acrylic on reclaimed wood from Hurricane Irma in Florida, 2017. A tribute to the Aloha lifestyle of Hawaii, this painting features a breaking wave in front of a sunset, superimposed on a pineapple with tropical flowers in the forefront. This painting is incredibly special to me because it was the reason I was selected to be in the International Surf & Ocean Art Show on the North Shore of Oahu in July 2018. Although it's back at home in Ormond Beach, Florida, this painting is part of the original "Hawaii-5-Oahu" and its 4 cousins, "Stoke-a-Nut", "It's All Right", "Peek-a-Board", and "Flor Viva" still reside in the Hilton Alves Gallery in Kahuku, Oahu, Hawaii. Framed in a hurricance wood frame and ready to ship to you.
